Natural Retreats is hiring a Property Manager to join our Sun Valley Team in Ketchum, ID!  This is a full-time, permanent position. The Property Manager is responsible for ensuring all properties and homes are maintained to the highest standard and consistently prepared for arrival in accordance with Natural Retreats brand standards. Come join the best luxury vacation management company!

Hourly rate: $24-27/ hour *depending on experience

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Work with management to oversee owner and guest services and fulfill owner and guest requests
  • Work with HOAs to ensure NR is abiding by rules and regulations as well as other assignments 
  • Assist with all aspects of maintenance, housekeeping management, and vendor relationships
  • Ensure all homes are staged and up to NR brand standards by addressing deferred maintenance issues
  • Conduct property inspections within a timeline outlined by the General Manager and as outlined in our management agreements using NR's tools and systems
  • Gain full knowledge of and maintain all operational systems and services in rental properties as required including gas, HVAC, electrical, entertainment, water, sewage supply etc.
  • Provide open, honest, and timely communication to all departments and central teams
  • Manage the upkeep, maintenance, and inventory of the property, and in conjunction with owners, replace items where necessary using approved suppliers and equipment
  • Manage any stocks of consumable items such as lightbulbs, batteries, dishes, etc. efficiently and within budget, assigning appropriate charges to owners as required by applicable deadlines
  • Perform basic mechanical and electronic repairs including but not limited to:
    • Reset Wi-Fi routers and modems
    • Reset and program cable and satellite TV receivers
    • Perform light plumbing and painting repairs

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

REQUIRED

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in hospitality, property management, or other related fields
  • Valid driver's license, 3+ years of driving experience and good driving record 
  • Strong mechanical skills with the ability to use hand tools and basic power tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of home systems
  • Strong local knowledge of Ketchum and surrounding area
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
  • Highly autonomous and self-motivated
  • Computer proficiency

DESIRED

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This is a full-time position. Due to the nature of the job, the Property Manager should be flexible with their hours. Weekend and holidays will generally be busy with guest arrivals and departures and are considered working days. We encourage all of our Team Members to take two (2) days off per week where possible, knowing that guests and owners can arrive at unpredictable times. The Team Member should always be available in case of an emergency, which includes evenings and on-call hours. The Property Manager will be required to be on-call 1 week a month.  Generally, this will mean be available during the workday of 10 AM – 6 PM although on occasion this will vary according to occupancy of the homes with the expectancy to answer after-hours calls.  Generally, this may mean working some inconsistent hours. Exact daily schedules may vary from season to season and differ from in-season to off-season. Vacation is generally taken outside of peak season.
